It's Christmas time, It's Christmas day to be exact... and yet again, I find myself in my bed lonely and confused just as I have been in previous years. Why? Because I am not with the one that I love... the one I love is a million miles away from me and it kills me so much being so far away from him. I love him so much, he's my best friend, lover, boyfriend, mi vida, and my future. Some of you I know think I'm absolutely crazy but love does crazy things eh? I think we all know that.

But what is the real purpose of this holiday besides just being with family and friends? It is the celebrate and rededicate the birth of Christ into this world, into our hearts and lives. Forget Santa, forget presents, and all the special yummy fattening and sick-making food. Christmas is to celebrate Christ. After His name is in the Holiday, and even with His name in the holiday, we look right past and forget about Him. May we all strive to do better to keep Christ in our hearts and minds throughout this new year. *smooches*

I haven't updated my blog in quite a while but that doesn't change the gazillion thoughts that are always rushing through my mind. I know you really don't care what I have to say, or if anyone is even reading this or not... or even cares but it's good for me to publish my thoughts, just in case you do care.

So, I have really been thinking a lot about Germany. Words cannot express the feelings I'm having of going to another country, another world and living and being a part of them for a year; it's like a dream come true. I'm really not sure everything that I'm going to be doing while there, but I really honestly do not care. I'm going to be starting anew and have a totally new chance at living my life once again while still on this planet.

Well, now you've heard a piece of my heart on my near future. What more is on my mind? Well, a good single word for what I'm about to tell you would be Preparation. The reason why I would say preparation is because I'm about to go on a journey and I have to get ready. No no, not just my journey to Germany, but a trip to live with God eternally. This is not the kind of trip where even if your not ready and have everything, you can stop at the store on the way and pick a few things up to make you ready. That's a no can do situation. With this preparation, I have to be ready mentally, emotionally, and spiritually to meet my Jesus when He comes. Problem is, I'm not ready. But who is really? I need to take more time out of each day, each other, every second of my life to be more prepared and fit to go with Him on this journey so I can live with Him forever.

I am currently sitting in the Cleveland Ohio International airport. You may be wondering why I am here so I will tell you. Last night, December 12, 2009, Kayla Shattle and Levi Roesch were married. God has brought this couple together to be an even brighter light united unlike they were before.
Let us all pray for this newly married young couple. The devil is always trying to distroy marriages and we don't want to let the devil win. God has brought these two young lives together so we all must do our part also in not allowing the devil to win!

Congratulations Levi and Kayla!!!

Sometimes in our world today, we try and try to find a place that fits us perfectly. We think that maybe we are living in the wrong place. Maybe we don’t have the right car, or clothes or personality or friends. Let me tell you something though my friends. We will never fit in on this earth as long as we live if we are living the way we should with Christ.

Christ never fit in with the crowd. He was always different but He never cared about that. He is the Son of God which could never be on the wrong path. He paid the price for us so that we don’t have to fit in, have friends, and be happy to have eternal life.

Christ lived a simple and plain life for all to see. He lived here on this earth to be an example for all of us. That’s the whole reason why He came to this earth. To be our example and to die. He loved us so much, that He came to this sinful planet to be redemption for our sins.

Why do we not try to live this perfect life God has placed in for us? He tries so hard to get us to follow Him. He wants us to follow Him but He gives us a choice. He cannot and will not force us. He is always trying to get our attention but we always seem the ignore Him and go our own ways as if He is nothing. God wants to be our best friend but so many times we don’t want Him to be ours.

When we live our lives and go our own ways, nothing hurts God more than not wanting to be part of His life. God loves us so much, and when he calls us in the morning to come and spend some time with Him, we run away to work and breakfast. When he tries to talk with us in the car, we turn on the radio and listen the jabber they have to say, but we can’t take some time alone in the quiet to talk to God.

Friends, my challenge for you today is to take time out of your day for God. Just as you would take time out for your children, spouse, best friend…try to take some out of your busy schedule for God. I can assure you that if you do, you will see a drastic difference in your life. You will be happier, more energized, and ready to face the day.

Is this you desire? I pray each day that each and every one of us will take time for God and be different than the rest of the world for Jesus Christ!
